Returns for Online & Phone Purchases
We’re here to make your online shopping experience as smooth as possible. Here’s what you need to know about returns:
- Returns may be initiated within 3 days of receiving your order. To initiate a return, call us at 412-343-5299 to obtain a return authorization number.
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for reasons other than incorrect shipment or damaged goods.
- For items sold with “Free Shipping,” the initial outbound shipping charges will be deducted from your refund.
- Canceled/returned orders are subject to a 3.5% restocking fee to cover PayPal/credit card fees that are not refunded to Empire Music.
- We reserve the right to refuse returns, or charge a restocking fee, if the returned item is not in its original condition. For instruments, please make sure that the manufacturer’s protective plastic is still intact on the pickups and pickguard, and all original packing materials are included.

It has been hand-inspected and setup with any significant playwear listed below in detail. The instrument includes its full factory warranty and original case.*

The Martin BC-16E acoustic-electric bass brings the low-end to the 16 Series. Handcrafted in Martin's Nazareth factory, this full-scale satin bass boasts a resonant spruce top paired with East Indian rosewood back and sides that offer a well-balanced tone for all playing styles. Its Grand Auditorium body size provides plenty of projection, while a cutaway gives you even more room to thump those high notes with ease. Equipped with Martin E1 electronics, the BC-16E lets you sculpt your sound with onboard controls for volume, tone, and phase, while the built-in chromatic tuner ensures accurate tuning without the need for plugging in. This bass is ready to help you unleash your inner artist, wherever your musical journey takes you.
