Guitars & Basses (Online & Phone Orders)
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you need to return a
guitar or bass, here’s what you need to know:- Returns must be initiated within 3 days of receiving your order.
- To initiate a return, call us at 412-343-5299 for a return authorization number.
- Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, unless the item arrived damaged or the wrong product was sent.
- If your item shipped with “Free Shipping,” the original outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.
- A 3.5% restocking fee applies to all canceled or returned orders to cover non-refundable payment processing fees.
- Items must be returned in original condition with all packaging materials included. For guitars and basses, that means protective plastic must still be intact on pickups and pickguards; all accessories, case candy, and paperwork must be included; original box and packing materials must be returned.
- We reserve the right to refuse returns or charge an additional restocking fee if items are not returned in original condition.
All Sales Final
We do not accept returns on the following:
- In-store purchases
- Local Pickup Orders (Buy Online / Phone)
- Closeout or clearance items
- Purchases involving trades
- Instruments modified at the time of sale or after (example: strap button or pickup installation)
- Amps, Pedals & Electronics. Due to the nature of electronic products, we do not accept returns on amplifiers, pedals, or other electronic gear. If your item appears defective out of the box, contact us immediately — we’ll work with you and the manufacturer on a warranty resolution.

The Martin D-17 is a bold new offering in the refreshed Standard Series, combining vintage-inspired appointments with modern refinements for players seeking rich sounds and enhanced playability. This 14-fret Dreadnought model is handcrafted with a satin-finished solid mahogany body, delivering a warm and woody tone. The Sitka spruce Golden Era (GE) top bracing, as featured on the Modern Deluxe Series, offers a more vintage, breathy tone, while an ebony GE modern belly bridge with smoother corners enhances comfort and resonance. Playability is a priority with the D-17, featuring a satin-finished select hardwood neck, GE modified low oval profile that’s optimized for vintage appeal, and thinner ebony fingerboard with a gently beveled edge. The refined string spacing is ideal for players who want a comfortable, effortless feel. Vintage-inspired details such as a sleeker heel and nickel open gear tuners give the guitar a timeless, elegant look. Whether you’re strumming big chords or picking intricate tunes, the D-17 delivers powerful, dynamic sound with a classic, vintage vibe that's anything but standard.
