Returns for Online & Phone Purchases
We’re here to make your online shopping experience as smooth as possible. Here’s what you need to know about returns:
- Returns may be initiated within 3 days of receiving your order. To initiate a return, call us at 412-343-5299 to obtain a return authorization number.
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for reasons other than incorrect shipment or damaged goods.
- For items sold with “Free Shipping,” the initial outbound shipping charges will be deducted from your refund.
- Canceled/returned orders are subject to a 3.5% restocking fee to cover PayPal/credit card fees that are not refunded to Empire Music.
- We reserve the right to refuse returns, or charge a restocking fee, if the returned item is not in its original condition. For instruments, please make sure that the manufacturer’s protective plastic is still intact on the pickups and pickguard, and all original packing materials are included.

It has been hand-inspected and setup with any significant playwear listed below in detail. The instrument includes its full factory warranty and original case.*

Crafted with a torrefied Sitka spruce top, Grand Pacific round-shoulder dreadnought body shape and tone-enhancing internal bracing, the 217e Plus SB Plus offers players a premium acoustic playing experience with a rich, powerful voice. Thanks to our proprietary roasting process for the spruce top, this model yields bold projection with a warm, aged-in quality and clear low-end power, adding up to a seasoned neo-vintage sound that's sure to provide inspiration for players of all skill levels. A slender Taylor neck ensures smooth, relaxed fretting across the frequency spectrum, and built-in ES2 electronics produce clear, organic tone whenever you need to plug in. This Plus model features upgraded appointments such as a full-body gloss finish and a striking sunburst top treatment, and includes a sturdy, lightweight AeroCase for storage and transportation.
