Guitars & Basses (Online & Phone Orders)
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you need to return a
guitar or bass, here’s what you need to know:- Returns must be initiated within 3 days of receiving your order.
- To initiate a return, call us at 412-343-5299 for a return authorization number.
- Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, unless the item arrived damaged or the wrong product was sent.
- If your item shipped with “Free Shipping,” the original outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.
- A 3.5% restocking fee applies to all canceled or returned orders to cover non-refundable payment processing fees.
- Items must be returned in original condition with all packaging materials included. For guitars and basses, that means protective plastic must still be intact on pickups and pickguards; all accessories, case candy, and paperwork must be included; original box and packing materials must be returned.
- We reserve the right to refuse returns or charge an additional restocking fee if items are not returned in original condition.

Fender Custom Shop 1955 Precision Bass DLX Closet Classic, Maple Fingerboard, Faded Taos Turquoise

Take a journey back to the mid-'50s with the 1955 Precision Bass® DLX Closet Classic from the Fender Custom Shop. This bass has all the vintage vibe and tone of a well-loved original '55 P Bass thanks to its nitrocellulose lacquer finish and an array of authentic appointments.
The bass starts with a lightweight, resonant 2-piece select ash body finished in nitrocellulose lacquer for the aged, cracked look of a vintage instrument. The quartersawn maple neck has a comfortable 1955 Soft “V" profile and a nitro finish for smooth playability. The fretboard is quartersawn maple as well with 20 vintage-style frets and black micarta dot inlays.
For classic tone, a Custom Shop Hand-Wound '55 Precision Bass pickup is mounted in the bridge position. Volume and tone controls offer simple but effective shaping of the bass's robust sound.
Other premium features include 7.25" (184.1 mm) Radius, '55 Precision Bass® Wiring, 1-Ply Parchment Pickguard, 2-Saddle Vintage-Style Precision Bass® Bridge, Vintage-Style Tuning Machines, Bone Nut, Vintage-Style Disc String Tree, Deluxe Hardshell Case, Strap, Certificate of Authenticity.
