Dedicated to sustainability and preserving our planet for future generations, Martin Guitar is proud to reinforce that call to action this Earth Day with the all-new DSS Biosphere® II. The third model in their Earth Day series showcases another stunning work of art from acclaimed artist Robert Goetzl, taking us to the waters off the coast of Hawaii. This model is a tribute to the Keiki Kohola Project – Caring for Calves in Maui Waters, a nonprofit that promotes the protection of humpback whale mother and calf pairs during their time in Hawaiian waters. C. F. Martin & Co. has made a generous donation to its cause. The DSS Biosphere II is also FSC® certified, 100% plastic-free, and will be adorned with the Preferred by Nature Hummingbird Seal. It’s a satin sloped-shoulder Dreadnought that provides a warm and mellow tone rounded out by powerful mids, bright and airy trebles, and plenty of volume. All nature has its own song to sing. With the DSS Biosphere II, Martin hopes to raise awareness of protecting the environment, and the beautiful music it creates.
Note: After close inspection, this instrument is free of any major wear, marks and/or blemishes. (See Pics)
