Returns
Guitars & Basses (Online & Phone Orders)
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you need to return a
guitar or bass, here’s what you need to know:- Returns must be initiated within 3 days of receiving your order.
- To initiate a return, call us at 412-343-5299 for a return authorization number.
- Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, unless the item arrived damaged or the wrong product was sent.
- If your item shipped with “Free Shipping,” the original outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.
- A 3.5% restocking fee applies to all canceled or returned orders to cover non-refundable payment processing fees.
- Items must be returned in original condition with all packaging materials included. For guitars and basses, that means protective plastic must still be intact on pickups and pickguards; all accessories, case candy, and paperwork must be included; original box and packing materials must be returned.
- We reserve the right to refuse returns or charge an additional restocking fee if items are not returned in original condition.
All Sales Final
We do not accept returns on the following:
- In-store purchases
- Local Pickup Orders (Buy Online / Phone)
- Layaway sales and payments
- Closeout or clearance items
- Purchases involving trades
- Instruments modified at the time of sale or after (example: strap button or pickup installation)
- Amps, Pedals & Electronics. Due to the nature of electronic products, we do not accept returns on amplifiers, pedals, or other electronic gear. If your item appears defective out of the box, contact us immediately — we’ll work with you and the manufacturer on a warranty resolution.

*This instrument was on display at the 2026 Winter NAMM show. It has been hand-inspected with any significant playwear listed below in detail. The instrument includes its full factory warranty and original case. We'll complete a full professional setup before shipping.*

Martin has been crafting soprano ukuleles since 1915, inspired by the original instruments that came out of Hawaii in the late 1800s. The S1 Uke carries that legacy forward with a solid mahogany body and a hand-rubbed finish that brings out its natural beauty. As the smallest ukulele Martin makes, it’s incredibly portable—but don’t let the size fool you. The S1 delivers a surprisingly full, rich tone that punches well above its weight. Whether you're just starting out or adding to your collection, this compact, high-quality instrument offers classic Martin craftsmanship in a fun-to-play package.
