Returns for Online & Phone Purchases
We’re here to make your online shopping experience as smooth as possible. Here’s what you need to know about returns:
- Returns may be initiated within 3 days of receiving your order. To initiate a return, call us at 412-343-5299 to obtain a return authorization number.
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for reasons other than incorrect shipment or damaged goods.
- For items sold with “Free Shipping,” the initial outbound shipping charges will be deducted from your refund.
- Canceled/returned orders are subject to a 3.5% restocking fee to cover PayPal/credit card fees that are not refunded to Empire Music.
- We reserve the right to refuse returns, or charge a restocking fee, if the returned item is not in its original condition. For instruments, please make sure that the manufacturer’s protective plastic is still intact on the pickups and pickguard, and all original packing materials are included.

It has been hand-inspected and setup with any significant playwear listed below in detail. The instrument includes its full factory warranty and original case.*

The Martin D-16E acoustic-electric offers players a sleek and comfortable Dreadnought-style guitar. Handcrafted in the Martin Nazareth factory as part of the 16 Series, its body shape combines the power and projection of the iconic Dreadnought with the depth and comfort of an Auditorium (000) model. At its core lies a resonant satin spruce top, paired with your choice of East Indian rosewood or mahogany satin back and sides. Equipped with Martin E1 electronics, the D-16E lets you sculpt your sound with onboard controls for volume, tone, and phase, while the built-in chromatic tuner ensures accurate tuning without the need for plugging in. This guitar is ready to help you unleash your inner artist, wherever your musical journey takes you.
