We are excited to offer the just released 2025 Martin 42 Series. These models harken back to the classic models of the 30s and 40s, providing some of the most sought after and most recorded tones in history.

As part of the newly refreshed Standard series, the 42 series models include Golden Era Top Braces, the Authentic Fingerboard Thickness (thinner) with gently beveled comfort edge, sleeker vintage-style heel, Golden Era Modern Belly Bridge with Bone Bridge Pins, Long Diamond Neck Transition and the Nut is placed on the angle of the headstock.

The Martin OM-42 is a trusted blend of tone and craftsmanship, designed for players who value exceptional sound and stunning visual details. Its Auditorium body size delivers balanced tone across all six strings, with deep bass, rich overtones, and clear trebles that suit any playing style. Handcrafted with a solid spruce top and solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, the OM-42 offers a resonant voice with enhanced projection and sustain, thanks to its longer 25.4" scale length. The gloss genuine mahogany neck, featuring a Golden Era (GE) Modified Low Oval profile and high-performance taper, ensures effortless playability and precision. Adorned with exquisite abalone details, the OM-42 features snowflake inlays on the bridge and bound ebony fingerboard, a shimmering rosette, and pearl trim on the top that wraps elegantly around the fingerboard. Complete with antique white binding, an ebony bridge with bone pins, and gold open gear tuners, the OM-42 is a guitar you can trust to unleash the artist within.
