Used Fender American Jazz Bass (2000-2003) - Black #85472 with Molded Hard Case

This Fender American Jazz Bass is in VERY GOOD overall condition. Cosmetically, it is in very good shape but does show wear/blemishes in places. This is a used instrument, so it will have finish scratching and playwear. Any significant marks will be mentioned in the description. All used models receive a full factory setup and hand-inspection before shipping.

Inspired by player feedback on the Precision Bass® in the late 1950s, the Jazz Bass® was introduced in 1960. In the decades since, it has become a staple for players of all genres and has set the standard for bass tone. The Jazz Bass features the original body radius and contours: slim neck, offset-waist body, two single-coil, bi-pole pickups, and offers player-friendly refinements such as detailed fret and nut work, a 3-ply parchment pickguard and a graphite-reinforced neck with rolled edges. To enhance tone, American Series basses are crafted from solid premium ash or alder bodies.

Note: After close inspection, this instrument shows general finish scratching throughout, a small indent on the top, a chip on the lower bout near the edge, and slight discoloration along with additional finish scratching on the neck. (See pics. Light bar used to show wear)
