Created over a decade into the CBS era, this modified 1976 Fender Precision Bass is a testament to history, and has been upgraded with some modern player-centric modifications. 

The instrument has seen many stages over the years and is well worn/played putting it into player grade condition. The finish has discolored from its original Olympic White and features heavy checking, cracking, playwear, scuffs, scratches, chips, and open screw-holes throughout. There is a professionally repaired crack near the headstock as well.

Some of the original hardware that is intact has tarnishing and rusting. The wiring electronics are all original CTS pots, capacitor, and output jack. The tuners have been replaced with Gotoh Made in Japan tuners, the nut is now brass, knobs have been replaced, finger rest has been moved to the E string side of the pickguard, and the bridge has been replaced with a high-mass Leo Quan Badass Bass II. The split-coil pickup has been replaced with a Bartolini Precision stye pickup.

This '76 Precision Bass is currently strung with flatwound strings, comes with a Gator gig bag, and is in good playing condition ready for the studio or the stage.
