This Carvin H2 Allan Holdsworth is in EXCELLENT overall condition. Cosmetically, it is very clean, only showing some very light play wear. This is a used instrument, so it may have minor finish scratching and minor playwear. Any significant marks will be mentioned in the description. All used models receive a full factory setup and hand-inspection before shipping.

Founded in 1948 as Kiesel Electronics, Carvin began producing guitars, basses, and amplifiers in 1954. All of Carvin's products, today known as Kiesel Guitars, are built to order, and feature American craftsman ship, premium tonewoods, high-end parts, and their own custom electronics.

From the Carvin 1997 catalog:

Allan Holdworth has been working closely with Carvin over the last two years developing his new Carvin signature model. We built close to a dozen prototypes to arrive at a guitar that Allan would proudly put his name on. The new Holdsworth model has many unique design features including the alder wood set-in neck and chambered out semi-hollow body. As a result, the highly resonant tone is incredible.

Note: After close inspection, this instrument has scratching throughout and an impression on the back of the body towards the low E string side. The potentiometers and 3-way switch were professionally upgraded to CTS parts with the originals in the case.(See pics, light reflections used to show wear)
