This Martin OM Mikael Åkerfeldt is in EXCELLENT overall condition. Cosmetically, it is very clean, only showing some very light play wear. This is a used instrument, so it may have minor finish scratching and minor playwear. Any significant marks will be mentioned in the description. All used models receive a full factory setup and hand-inspection before shipping.

Designed in collaboration with the Opeth frontman and progressive metal icon, this signature model features a torrefied spruce top paired with a dramatic three-piece back of Guatemalan rosewood and an East Indian rosewood wedge. It’s also the first traditional build to feature Martin’s Low Profile Velocity neck—sleek, fast, and designed for players who favor the feel of an electric. A high-performance taper and full 25.4" scale length offer room to move, while the ebony fingerboard inlaid with black mother-of-pearl Roman numerals adds a shadowy, personal touch that’s uniquely Mikael. VTS-treated spruce and Golden Era scalloped X-bracing provide vintage warmth and responsiveness, while black Liquidmetal® bridge pins enhance sustain and clarity.
