This Gibson Les Paul Special SL is in VERY GOOD overall condition. Cosmetically, it is in very good shape but does show wear/blemishes in places. See below for a detailed description. It has been thoroughly inspected, set up nicely and guaranteed to play great when it arrives.

BACK: Finish scratching throughout.

SIDE(S): Finish scratching throughout.

FINGERBOARD: No significant marks, blemishes, or wear.

FRETS: Little to no visible wear. No grooves or divots.

HEADSTOCK: Finish chipping around face/edges; Scratching on face.

The Les Paul Junior with one P-90 pickup debuted in 1955 with great success. The double pickup Special followed the same year. in the year 2000 Gibson introduced the Les Paul Junior Special--a thoroughbred ancestor of those two legends. As a limited run, Gibson created the Les Paul Special SL Humbucker. Retaining the original Junior Special's vintage look, but instead of P-100s, it features a 490R neck pickup and a 498T bridge pickup.
