Returns
Guitars & Basses (Online & Phone Orders)
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you need to return a
guitar or bass, here’s what you need to know:- Returns must be initiated within 3 days of receiving your order.
- To initiate a return, call us at 412-343-5299 for a return authorization number.
- Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, unless the item arrived damaged or the wrong product was sent.
- If your item shipped with “Free Shipping,” the original outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.
- A 3.5% restocking fee applies to all canceled or returned orders to cover non-refundable payment processing fees.
- Items must be returned in original condition with all packaging materials included. For guitars and basses, that means protective plastic must still be intact on pickups and pickguards; all accessories, case candy, and paperwork must be included; original box and packing materials must be returned.
- We reserve the right to refuse returns or charge an additional restocking fee if items are not returned in original condition.
All Sales Final
We do not accept returns on the following:
- In-store purchases
- Local Pickup Orders (Buy Online / Phone)
- Layaway sales and payments
- Closeout or clearance items
- Purchases involving trades
- Instruments modified at the time of sale or after (example: strap button or pickup installation)
- Amps, Pedals & Electronics. Due to the nature of electronic products, we do not accept returns on amplifiers, pedals, or other electronic gear. If your item appears defective out of the box, contact us immediately — we’ll work with you and the manufacturer on a warranty resolution.

This instrument will be displayed by Bacci as part of the Boutique Guitar Showcase at the 2026 NAMM show in Anaheim, CA, January 20-24.
NAMM Show attendees may purchase this instrument here, and a member of the Empire Music team will reach out to coordinate pickup at the show. Non-attendees may also place a preorder for delivery 3-4 weeks following the NAMM Show. All sales are final.
Bruno Bacci, a luthier and guitar maker from Tuscany, Italy, is the mind and heart behind Bacci Guitars. Bruno makes all of Bacci’s instruments, crafting a maximum of 300 per year, ensuring exceptional quality and attention to detail.
Nightwood and Sea Series:
A collection dedicated to the colors of the forest at night, to wood, to the ultramarine of the sea under the cliff, and to the strength of the Tuscan natural tones. Conceived to evoke the silence of paths through the trees and the variety of surfaces encountered in the dark. The deeper shades recall the living substance of the undergrowth and the constant presence of natural elements which shape the structure of the entire line and define its character.
This Marleo 5-string bass features an Ultramarine Radiance finish with matching headstock, 34" scale figured maple neck, and 12" radius ebony fingerboard. Electronically, this instrument has Nordstrand JMM Pickups with a Nordstrand 3B-5B Pre-Amp. Rounding out the bass is an original Bacci Brass 5 bridge and Hipshot USA Ultralite Chrome tuners.
