The Epiphone Prophecy series has been extensively reworked for players who expect uncompromising speed, precision, and tonal command. Rather than a simple update, it represents a complete ground-up redesign. Developed for today’s dedicated musicians, the refreshed Prophecy lineup merges Epiphone’s iconic heritage with progressive, performance-focused innovation, resulting in finely tuned instruments that are assertive, responsive, and purpose-built for modern playing styles.

Bold in both sound and appearance, Prophecy series models stand at the forefront of Epiphone’s lineup. They deliver elevated craftsmanship, expanded tonal versatility, and performance-driven specifications tailored to the needs of today’s most demanding genres.

The new Prophecy Les Paul™ is a defining example of this approach. It features a satin-finished mahogany body with Ultra Modern weight relief, topped with a maple cap and a highly figured flamed maple veneer. A Modern Contoured Heel enhances upper-fret access, while a rear belly carve increases playing comfort, blending traditional Les Paul styling with contemporary ergonomics. The satin-finished, thermally aged one-piece maple neck is reinforced with graphite rods for improved strength and long-term stability. Its streamlined Hyperglide profile supports fast, fluid playability, and the extended 25.5” scale length provides added string tension and clarity, making it ideal for modern tunings and drop-tuned performance.

The bound ebony fretboard features a 10”-14” compound radius and 24 stainless steel frets, creating a smooth, durable, and highly precise playing surface. Black mother-of-pearl block inlays enhance its clean, modern look, while the multi-ply-bound headstock, detailed with the Epiphone logo and Custom split diamond inlay, reinforces its premium aesthetic.

Black hardware underscores the guitar’s contemporary, performance-oriented design. Locking Grover® Rotomatic® tuners, a Graph Tech® nut, and a LockTone™ Modern bridge work together to ensure excellent tuning stability and reliable performance.

A through-body tailpiece, inspired by the Frequensator design, improves string tension balance, delivering defined lows, expressive highs, strong sustain, and smooth bending response.

At the heart of the Prophecy Les Paul’s versatility are its custom-voiced Fishman® Fluence® pickups, developed specifically for the Prophecy series. These advanced electronics offer three distinct tonal options via intuitive push/pull volume and tone controls:

• Modern high-output active humbucker™ tones
• Vintage-inspired Patent Applied For-style humbucker character
• Clear, single-coil-style articulation

Individual volume controls handle coil-splitting functions, while the tone controls select pickup voicings, providing a broad tonal palette. This flexibility allows the Prophecy Les Paul to excel in high-gain, modern genres, while remaining adaptable for recording, rehearsal, and live performance.

With a tight and controlled low end, focused mids, and outstanding articulation, the Prophecy Les Paul maintains clarity and consistency even under demanding playing conditions. Every detail is carefully engineered for players who expect uncompromising performance.

When speed, comfort, and precision are essential, the Epiphone Prophecy Les Paul rises to the occasion. Supplied with a Protector Ultralite case, the rebuilt Prophecy Series brings Epiphone’s next generation of speed, precision, and tonal versatility to players pushing heavy music forward, giving them the tools to turn the sound in their heads into something the whole room can feel, night after night, gig after gig.
