The Epiphone Prophecy series has been boldly re-envisioned for players who demand exceptional speed, precision, and commanding tone. Far more than a simple refinement, it represents a complete ground-up redesign. Created for today’s dedicated musicians, the new Prophecy lineup blends Epiphone’s storied legacy with cutting-edge performance advancements, resulting in finely crafted instruments that are aggressive, responsive, and built for modern playing styles.

Powerful, articulate, and striking in design, Prophecy series models sit at the leading edge of Epiphone’s lineup. They bring together premium build quality, expanded tonal range, and performance-driven specifications tailored to the needs of today’s most demanding genres.

The new Prophecy Victory FR stands as a clear expression of this approach. It features a satin-finished mahogany Victory body topped with a highly figured flamed maple veneer, merging classic styling with a more contemporary aesthetic. Its satin-finished, thermally aged one-piece maple neck is strengthened with graphite rods for improved stability and long-term durability. The sleek Hyperglide profile promotes fast, effortless playability, while the 25.5” scale length enhances string tension and note definition, making it especially effective for modern tunings and drop-tuned performance.

A bound ebony fretboard with a 10”-14” compound radius and 24 stainless steel frets offers a smooth, long-lasting, and precision-oriented playing experience. Black mother-of-pearl dot inlays accent its clean, modern look, and the multi-ply-bound Explorer™-style headstock, featuring a mother-of-pearl Epiphone logo, adds a refined, high-end visual signature.

Black hardware reinforces the guitar’s contemporary, aggressive character. Locking Grover® Mini Rotomatic® tuners, a Floyd Rose® R3 locking nut, and a Floyd Rose 1000 Series locking tremolo system work in unison to deliver exceptional tuning stability and reliable performance, even under heavy tremolo use.

At the heart of the Prophecy Victory FR’s versatility are its custom-voiced Fishman® Fluence® pickups, developed exclusively for the Prophecy series. These advanced pickups provide three distinct tonal options, easily accessed via push/pull master volume and tone controls:

• High-output modern active humbucker™ tones
• Vintage-inspired Patent Applied For-style humbucker character
• Clear, single-coil-style articulation

This expansive tonal palette enables the Prophecy Victory FR to handle high-gain modern styles with authority, while remaining flexible enough for recording, rehearsal, and live applications.

Delivering a tight, controlled low end, focused midrange, and outstanding note clarity, the Prophecy Victory FR performs with consistency even in the most demanding environments. Every detail is designed to meet the expectations of players who refuse to compromise.

For musicians seeking speed, comfort, and precision, the Epiphone Prophecy Victory FR rises to the challenge. Supplied with a Protector Ultralite case, the rebuilt Prophecy Series brings Epiphone’s next generation of speed, precision, and tonal versatility to players pushing heavy music forward, giving them the tools to turn the sound in their heads into something the whole room can feel, night after night, gig after gig.
