- Returns may be initiated within 3 days of receiving your order. To initiate a return, call us at 412-343-5299 to obtain a return authorization number.
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for reasons other than incorrect shipment or damaged goods.
- For items sold with “Free Shipping,” the initial outbound shipping charges will be deducted from your refund.
- Canceled/returned orders are subject to a 3.5% restocking fee to cover PayPal/credit card fees that are not refunded to Empire Music.
- We reserve the right to refuse returns, or charge a restocking fee, if the returned item is not in its original condition. For instruments, please make sure that the manufacturer’s protective plastic is still intact on the pickups and pickguard, and all original packing materials are included.

Description
Combining beautiful and exotic tone woods, the Artisan Maple Burl Jazz Bass® NOS showcases the high-level craftsmanship of the Fender Custom Shop—seamlessly merging Fender heritage with showstopping appointments. Finished in Aged Natural NOS lacquer, the two-piece select ash body (with offset seam) is paired with an incredible 4A maple burl top, and to round out this perfect union of woods, a 3A roasted flame maple neck is topped with a round-laminated rosewood fingerboard.
Loaded with a pair of Custom Shop hand-wound vintage Jazz Bass® pickups and vintage wiring, the bass’ warm, well-balanced tone is familiar, but with added punch and snap from the unique combination of woods. An RSD HiMass™ bridge and a set of vintage-style oval paddle tuning machines add high performance functionality with timeless visual cues.
Other premium features include '60-style "U" back-shape, 9.5" radius, 20 medium jumbo (6150) frets, 4-ply brown shell pickguard, bone nut, disc string tree, deluxe hardshell case, strap and certificate of authenticity.
Our Custom Shop Authorized technicians complete a full professional factory-spec setup and inspection before shipping or in-store pickup, ensuring an extraordinary playing experience!
