Returns for Online & Phone Purchases
We’re here to make your online shopping experience as smooth as possible. Here’s what you need to know about returns:
- Returns may be initiated within 3 days of receiving your order. To initiate a return, call us at 412-343-5299 to obtain a return authorization number.
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for reasons other than incorrect shipment or damaged goods.
- For items sold with “Free Shipping,” the initial outbound shipping charges will be deducted from your refund.
- Canceled/returned orders are subject to a 3.5% restocking fee to cover PayPal/credit card fees that are not refunded to Empire Music.
- We reserve the right to refuse returns, or charge a restocking fee, if the returned item is not in its original condition. For instruments, please make sure that the manufacturer’s protective plastic is still intact on the pickups and pickguard, and all original packing materials are included.

The unique combination of appointments featured on the Postmodern Tele® Journeyman Relic® brings both vintage enthusiasts and modern players together. Expertly designed with a warm and resonant select ash thinline body, one-piece rift sawn maple neck with ’57-style Soft “V” back-shape and contoured heel, this Tele® is sure to captivate players and audiences in its Journeyman Relic® lacquer finishes—available in Aged Butterscotch Blonde, Aged White Blonde and Aged Black.
A pair of Custom Shop hand-wound Tomatillo Tele® pickups are at the heart of this instrument, providing beautifully well-balanced tone with a dose of twang and snap, while the Bigsby® B5 vibrato tailpiece and RSD J-Bridge offer expressive vibrato and timeless style.
Other premium features include 9.5" radius, 21 narrow tall (6105) frets, Fat '50s Tele® wiring, 3-way switch, single-ply Cabro-style black phenolic pickguard (parchment on black), vintage-style tuning machines, bone nut, wing string tree, deluxe hardshell case, strap, and certificate of authenticity.
Our Custom Shop Authorized technicians complete a full professional factory-spec setup and inspection before shipping or in-store pickup, ensuring an extraordinary playing experience!
