Guitars & Basses (Online & Phone Orders)
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you need to return a
guitar or bass, here’s what you need to know:- Returns must be initiated within 3 days of receiving your order.
- To initiate a return, call us at 412-343-5299 for a return authorization number.
- Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, unless the item arrived damaged or the wrong product was sent.
- If your item shipped with “Free Shipping,” the original outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.
- A 3.5% restocking fee applies to all canceled or returned orders to cover non-refundable payment processing fees.
- Items must be returned in original condition with all packaging materials included. For guitars and basses, that means protective plastic must still be intact on pickups and pickguards; all accessories, case candy, and paperwork must be included; original box and packing materials must be returned.
- We reserve the right to refuse returns or charge an additional restocking fee if items are not returned in original condition.

We do not accept returns on the following:

- Closeout or clearance items
- Purchases involving trades
- Instruments modified at the time of sale or after (example: strap button or pickup installation)
- Amps, Pedals & Electronics. Due to the nature of electronic products, we do not accept returns on amplifiers, pedals, or other electronic gear. If your item appears defective out of the box, contact us immediately — we’ll work with you and the manufacturer on a warranty resolution.

What are “B-Stock” models?
These are new instruments that may have a small cosmetic blemish, which does not affect their playability or tone. While blemishes will vary, these instruments still retain their manufacturer's warranty. Any significant marks will be mentioned in the description. All “B-Stock” models receive a full factory setup and hand-inspection before shipping.

Inspired by the historic “Rex” line of instruments offered by mail-order catalog in the 1930s, ‘40s and ’50s, Jim Dandy™ models embody the charm and spirit of those early Gretsch® flat-top guitars with superior playability and best-in-class-tone to boot)
Featuring a specially-designed slope shoulder body shape and a modest 24.75“ scale length, the Jim Dandy™ Dreadnought offers a refreshingly comfortable and compact form factor without sacrificing the volume, projection and bass response for which dreadnought guitars are so revered.
The X-braced body is crafted with select lightweight laminate tonewoods for an optimal balance of woody vintage tone and reliable durability, while the “C”-shape neck presents an inviting feel for hours of old-timey inspiration. Period-correct details such as a vintage-style pinned bridge, “G”-graphic pickguard, painted pinstripe purfling, 3-on-a-plate open-gear tuning machines and oversized dot fingerboard inlays combine for a nostalgic personality destined for any barnburner or jamboree.
Well suited for everything from bluesy porch pickin’ to speakeasy swingin’, the Gretsch Jim Dandy Dreadnought is a ramblin’ companion for newbies and old-timers alike.
