Returns
Guitars & Basses (Online & Phone Orders)
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you need to return a
guitar or bass, here’s what you need to know:- Returns must be initiated within 3 days of receiving your order.
- To initiate a return, call us at 412-343-5299 for a return authorization number.
- Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, unless the item arrived damaged or the wrong product was sent.
- If your item shipped with “Free Shipping,” the original outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.
- A 3.5% restocking fee applies to all canceled or returned orders to cover non-refundable payment processing fees.
- Items must be returned in original condition with all packaging materials included. For guitars and basses, that means protective plastic must still be intact on pickups and pickguards; all accessories, case candy, and paperwork must be included; original box and packing materials must be returned.
- We reserve the right to refuse returns or charge an additional restocking fee if items are not returned in original condition.
All Sales Final
We do not accept returns on the following:
- In-store purchases
- Local Pickup Orders (Buy Online / Phone)
- Layaway sales and payments
- Closeout or clearance items
- Purchases involving trades
- Instruments modified at the time of sale or after (example: strap button or pickup installation)
- Amps, Pedals & Electronics. Due to the nature of electronic products, we do not accept returns on amplifiers, pedals, or other electronic gear. If your item appears defective out of the box, contact us immediately — we’ll work with you and the manufacturer on a warranty resolution.

The Custom Shop 000-28K 1921 brings the warmth, beauty, and vintage character of an early all-koa Martin to life with stunning detail. Its 000 12-fret body is crafted from highly figured koa, features a thin vintage gloss finish, and is accented with grained ivoroid binding, fine herringbone top inlay, and a faux tortoise under-finish pickguard. Traditional hide glue construction and VTS-treated Authentic scalloped Adirondack spruce X-bracing deliver exceptional responsiveness and resonance, while the long 25.4" scale length and wider 1 7/8" nut width offer a spacious, expressive feel. A slotted headstock, a pyramid ebony bridge, Golden Era diamond-and-square abalone inlays, and an Authentic 1921 neck shape complete the vintage-inspired design.
