Description
Martin D Biosphere III, Ebony Fingerboard, Robert Goetzel Art

Celebrate Earth Day with the D Biosphere® III, the latest chapter in Martin's commitment to sustainability and environmental awareness. Crafted entirely from FSC®-certified woods, this guitar is more than an instrument—it's a call to action. At its heart is a captivating work of art by Robert Goetzl, depicting a tender moment between a polar bear mother and her cub, set against a backdrop of icy blues and a warm, glowing sky. It’s a scene of beauty and fragility, echoing the uncertain future these majestic animals face.
This model is a tribute to Polar Bears International®, a nonprofit dedicated to the conservation of polar bears and the Arctic sea ice they depend on. C. F. Martin & Co.® has made a generous donation to support its vital work, helping to address both short- and long-term threats to these incredible animals and ensure they continue to roam the sea ice for generations to come.
Featuring a Dreadnought body made of solid sapele back and sides and a solid Sitka spruce top, the D Biosphere III produces a rich, resonant tone that mirrors the voice of our planet—bold, clear, and deeply moving. Thoughtful touches like European flamed maple binding and sapele fingerboard inlay make it as beautiful to play as it is to behold. Every strum of this guitar reminds us of the deep connection of all life and the importance of preserving it for generations to come. Join Martin in raising awareness and protecting our planet, because nature’s song deserves a stage.
Note: After close inspection, this instrument is free of any major wear, marks and/or blemishes. (See pics)
