Nik Huber began building guitars in 1993 and founded his company in 1996 in his hometown of Rodgau, Germany. Coming from a line of woodworkers going back four generations, and already having plenty of time gigging and touring under his belt, guitar making was a natural path for Nik.

The complete marriage of modern craftsmanship and the classic specs that guitarists have loved for generations, the Dolphin ’59 is both Nik Huber's most traditional guitar and a fresh take on the single-cut style. Combining a shorter scale-length, traditional woods and vintage voiced pickups with our Dolphin body-shape and signature Nik Huber touches, it’s a blank slate for musicians to create the music of the future but with a familiar, time-tested feel.
