Returns
Guitars & Basses (Online & Phone Orders)
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you need to return a
guitar or bass, here’s what you need to know:- Returns must be initiated within 3 days of receiving your order.
- To initiate a return, call us at 412-343-5299 for a return authorization number.
- Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, unless the item arrived damaged or the wrong product was sent.
- If your item shipped with “Free Shipping,” the original outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.
- A 3.5% restocking fee applies to all canceled or returned orders to cover non-refundable payment processing fees.
- Items must be returned in original condition with all packaging materials included. For guitars and basses, that means protective plastic must still be intact on pickups and pickguards; all accessories, case candy, and paperwork must be included; original box and packing materials must be returned.
- We reserve the right to refuse returns or charge an additional restocking fee if items are not returned in original condition.
All Sales Final
We do not accept returns on the following:
- In-store purchases
- Closeout or clearance items
- Purchases involving trades
- Instruments modified at the time of sale or after (example: strap button or pickup installation)
- Amps, Pedals & Electronics. Due to the nature of electronic products, we do not accept returns on amplifiers, pedals, or other electronic gear. If your item appears defective out of the box, contact us immediately — we’ll work with you and the manufacturer on a warranty resolution.

Among the most popular Taylor models and one of the best-selling U.S.-made acoustic guitars on the market, the 314ce offers a quintessentially Taylor experience with all-solid tonewoods and an accommodating feel. This Grand Auditorium boasts back and sides of solid sapele paired with a Sitka spruce top, producing a punchy, shimmering midrange, along with a warm, woody low-end character to balance the vibrant treble range. The V-Class bracing scheme adds a boost to power and sustain, and the always-comfortable Taylor neck makes for a smooth feel for any playing style. With straightforward appointments to preserve its workhorse personality, ES2 electronics and a hardshell case, the 314ce is the ultimate Swiss-army-knife guitar.
This prototype version of the 314ce includes unique cosmetic appointments not found normally found on the standard model. Featuring a Tobacco Stain and Shaded Edgeburst finish on the entire body, and Cocobolo binding and soundhole rosette.
