This beautiful custom Builder’s Edition guitar boasts a suite of comfort-focused enhancements, a time-tested tonewood combination, and an extensive array of exquisite shell inlays. Indian rosewood and Lutz spruce are paired in a cutaway Grand Auditorium body, producing a full-spectrum, high-fidelity voice with powerful projection, deep lows and sparkling trebles. Inside, our scalloped V-Class bracing ensures an ultra-balanced response, enhancing low-end warmth while unlocking richer open-string resonance. A hand-carved armrest reduces friction for your strumming arm, and a beveled cutaway provides seamless access to the higher frets. Graceful Cindy inlays in paua and mother of pearl—inspired by and named for Bob Taylor’s wife—complement a paua rosette and matching purfling around the body, fretboard and peghead. Finishing out the aesthetic package is an artfully applied charcoal edgeburst for the soundboard and a Kona edgeburst for the back and sides.
