We are taking the Taylor Gold Label Grand Auditorium models to a new level with our relationship with the Taylor Guitars Custom Shop.

We worked directly with Taylor Guitars on this specific build to offer some of the most elevated tonewoods and build techniques in the world of guitar manufacturing.

Featuring old-growth European Spruce and AA Grade East Indian Rosewood, players will experience a classic tonewood combination that is next-level due to the wood selection.

Tonewoods only tell part of the story with any build–this Custom model offers Hot Hide Glue Construction and Adirondack Braces.

Hot Hide Glue is the most transparent glue available in guitar manufacturing, which allows a significantly better transfer of tone from the braces to the top of the guitar. This is a vintage guitar-building technique that delivers the most premium tone. 

Adirondack Braces are one of our favorite ways to take a build and provide world-class tone. Adirondack braces are powerful and create a huge amount of dynamics on a guitar top. Players will receive a higher ceiling for headroom and notice much more character in the tone when playing lightly. 

We love European Spruce because the age of the wood adds a significant amount of strength and density to the top, while keeping the top light. Super responsive and powerful, players will find this top can yield incredible results in every playing situation. 

The AA Rosewood provides a full bottom end with sparkling highs–the sound players have chosen for nearly 100 years. 

We couldn’t think of a better model and body shape to employ these tonewoods than on the Gold Label Super Auditorium. The Gold Label Super Auditorium provides the most mature Auditorium tones Taylor has ever offered while still providing the comfort of the Auditorium silhouette. 

The secret sauce of the Gold Label Super Auditorium is the V Class Fan Bracing. The Fan Bracing provides round, broken-in and warm tones that provide a huge dynamic range. This allows players to create a wide range of tones with ease and provides an extremely versatile playing environment.

Playability is expertly controlled with the Taylor Action Control Neck. Players can easily adjust their neck angle on the fly and perform on an instrument that best suits their playing style.

Finally, this Custom Shop model is outfitted with the LR Baggs Element VTC pickup. Perform in any environment and receive the tones of a touring artist. LR Baggs is a pickup that is preferred by artists worldwide.
