Sitka Spruce tops offer a broad dynamic range, plenty of overhead and deliver the sonic profile of most of today’s modern guitars. Sitka Spruce is extremely popular due to its ability to perform at a high level for all styles of play. Whether you are a heavy strummer or fingerstyle player, Sitka Spruce will offer a clean and clear response to match your needs.

Hawaiian Figured Koa is sonically and visually stunning. Defined by the incredible figuring that naturally occurs in the wood, Koa will stop you in your tracks. Sonically, Koa offers a lush tone with a crisp response that is “dry/woody” in nature. Plenty of mids are available with excellent balance. Koa ages more dramatically than many woods and will open up over time with playing.

We love this tonewood combination for players who want the broad dynamic range of Sitka Spruce with the sweet sweet tones of Koa! Players of all types will reap the benefits of this wood combination. Fingerstyle players through heavy strummers will find this guitar full of life!

The Grand Auditorium Body shape is Taylor’s foremost design and allows for all styles of play and is super comfortable! Matched with a cutaway and Taylor ES2 Electronics package, this design is made for home, stage and studio. As an additional upgrade, this guitar is equipped with Taylor Sense which allows players to track their instrument’s humidity and much more.

We are proud to include a full professional setup to factory spec before delivering your new Taylor Guitar. Our world-class techs will dial in your instrument to make sure the playability is maximized!
