Guitars & Basses (Online & Phone Orders)
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you need to return a
guitar or bass, here’s what you need to know:- Returns must be initiated within 3 days of receiving your order.
- To initiate a return, call us at 412-343-5299 for a return authorization number.
- Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, unless the item arrived damaged or the wrong product was sent.
- If your item shipped with “Free Shipping,” the original outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.
- A 3.5% restocking fee applies to all canceled or returned orders to cover non-refundable payment processing fees.
- Items must be returned in original condition with all packaging materials included. For guitars and basses, that means protective plastic must still be intact on pickups and pickguards; all accessories, case candy, and paperwork must be included; original box and packing materials must be returned.
- We reserve the right to refuse returns or charge an additional restocking fee if items are not returned in original condition.

- Closeout or clearance items
- Purchases involving trades
- Instruments modified at the time of sale or after (example: strap button or pickup installation)
- Amps, Pedals & Electronics. Due to the nature of electronic products, we do not accept returns on amplifiers, pedals, or other electronic gear. If your item appears defective out of the box, contact us immediately — we’ll work with you and the manufacturer on a warranty resolution.

Crafted in partnership with Guitars for Vets—an organization providing guitar lessons and instruments to support American veterans experiencing PTSD—this version of Taylor's flagship acoustic-electric guitar sets a high standard for sound, style and musical utility. The Guitars 4 Vets 814ce Special Edition Blacktop combines a solid Sitka spruce top with back and sides of beautifully figured, AA-grade Indian rosewood, a pairing that yields a richly textured voice with warm lows, bell-like trebles and blooming overtone character. Inside, a scalloped variant of Taylor's V-Class bracing enhances the volume and sustain across the frequency spectrum, while new Claria electronics with convenient soundhole-mounted controls offer rich amplified tone that's exceptionally easy to dial in thanks to the included mid-contour knob. Exclusive details add up to a striking presentation honoring our veterans, including unique 5-Star shell inlays, figured Hawaiian koa binding with green abalone edge trim, an abalone rosette, antique gold Gotoh 510 tuning machines with black buttons, and a full-body gloss finish capped with black top color.
