Every B&G Private build guitar is passionately crafted by renowned artisans Eliran Barashi and Yotam 'Kiki' Goldshtein.
The story of the Little Sister began with the puzzling question of how the early delta bluesmen fascinated a listener with a guitar and their simple, yet soulful vocal lines.
B&G Guitars collected samples from the 1920s and 30s, many of which were in poor condition and needed complete restoration, and began to create the unique design that would best serve the guitar sound they became hooked on. And so the Little Sister was born.
They nitpick the old-growth timber for the tops and refine it to a rustic soundboard. The Cedar of Lebanon has the most acoustic-like tonal quality out of all of their electrics. At first, the COL may appear as the most delicate sounding Little Sister, but add dirt, and it's the ultimate blues machine.
The Soft V neck profile is inspired by a vintage acoustic neck, solid yet comfortable, to retain their trademark parlor feel and facilitate the thumb fretting technique.
Each pickup is wound by hand with AWG42 lacquered enamel copper wire, powered by in-house AlNiCo II and AlNiCo V magnets and covered by handmade brass covers.
Note: After close inspection, this instrument has impressions on the top of the body. (See pics)
