Used Fender Elite II Precision Bass (1983) - 3-Color Sunburst #19369 with Hard Case

This Fender Elite II Precision Bass is in EXCELLENT overall condition. Cosmetically, it is very clean, only showing some very light play wear. This is a used instrument, so it may have minor finish scratching and minor playwear. Any significant marks will be mentioned in the description. All used models receive a full factory setup and hand-inspection before shipping.

For years Fender has been consulting the most innovative and demanding bass players to determine what features they wanted most in a custom-quality instrument. The features they identified—added to the other improvements developed in the Elite Series project—have produced a family of five incredibly refined new basses: The Elite P-Bass Series.

Offered, like other Elites, with optional walnut neck and body and luxurious gold plated hardware, the Elite P-Basses offer another exciting option: a choice of one or two pickups.

The Elite basses' impressive feature list includes:

Heavy cast bridge with fine tuning adjusters. (pat. pending) Once you've gotten your Elite approximately in tune, you can make fine tuning adjustments with the four knurled adjustment knobs located at the bridge—far more precisely and conveniently than using the headstock-mounted tuning machines. The heavy, beautifully finished bridge also allows easy and positive adjustment of string height and intonation.

Choice of one or two split, noise-canceling pickups. The solid, traditional sound of the classic P-Bass, but with less hum and noise interference. A new pickup near the bridge on Elite II P-Basses adds a whole new dimension with an extra bright, punchy tone.

Active preamp with new tone circuitry. This circuit, powered by a long-life 9-volt battery, boosts pickup output and improves control operation. Two-pickup models feature independent pickup volume controls and a separate tone assign switch which lets the tone control operate on either or both pickups, providing an unusually wide range of sounds.

New neck design with Biflex™truss rod and easy pitch adjustment. The only truss rod system that allows adjusting neck curvature in both directions. Simplifies setting the instrument's neck curvature to the proper setting. Especially useful if you change string gauges frequently.

All-new die-cast tuning machines. Ultra-smooth action. Operating drag is easily adjustable, and a new cast tuning key greatly improves comfort.
