This Gibson Custom Shop Limited Edition Sam Ash 1957 Les Paul is in EXCELLENT overall condition. Cosmetically, it is very clean, only showing some very light play wear. This is a used instrument, so it may have minor finish scratching and minor playwear. Any significant marks will be mentioned in the description. All used models receive a full factory setup and hand-inspection before shipping.

This extremely rare Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul is a one off or small limited run model originally commissioned for Sam Ash in 1997. The model is based on 10 Les Pauls built in 1957 that were specially ordered in a Cherry Sunburst finish.

It features a mahogany body with a figured maple top, mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard, and Gibson PAF humbucker pickups.

Note: After close inspection, this instrument has finish scratching and scuffs/chipping. We are unsure of the exact pickup model outside of them being Gibson PAFs. Wiring harness is all original, but shows signs of a prior pickup change. (See pics)
