Hamer Guitars was co-founded by Paul Hamer and Jol Dantzig in 1976. In the early 1970s, the two were partners in Northern Prairie Music, a Chicago-based store that specialized in stringed instrument repair and used guitars. Considered by many to be one of the first "boutique" custom vintage-style brands, these quality American made instruments were beautifully crafted with premium tonewoods and parts.

This 2003 New Hartford, Connecticut custom built Monaco features a spruce top two f-hole arch-top, Honduran mahogany neck and body, 22 fret rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl Victory inlays, Schaller tuners, an upgraded bridge, a Bigsby tremolo, and a set of Lollar P-90 pickups.

Note: After close inspection, this instrument has scratching, scuffs, and impressions. Bridge and pickups have been upgraded with originals in the case. Original pickups Seymour Duncan P-90s. (See pics, light reflections used to show wear)
