Originally created by Gary Hurst to emulate a Maestro Fuzz-Tone with more sustain, the Sola Sound Tone Bender has been used by many rock legends in the 60s and 70s and is a sought after collector's piece.

This '73 "MKIV" version of the pedal features the bold fuzz logo enclosure design, and a three-transistor circuit that was loosely based on the Electro Harmonix Big Muff Pi. Depending on availability, this iteration of the model used either silicon or germanium transistors. This specific unit has germanium transistors and has had the original capacitors replaced. (Original capacitors are included inside the the enclosure)

Note: After close inspection, this item has wear throughout. Original capacitors have been replaced but are taped inside the enclosure. Has a new battery. (See pics)

All sales are final. No returns will be accepted unless the item shipped was incorrect or if that it was damaged in shipping.
