This Taylor 50th Anniversary 858e LTD is in EXCELLENT overall condition. Cosmetically, it is very clean, only showing some very light play wear. This is a used instrument, so it may have minor finish scratching and minor playwear. Any significant marks will be mentioned in the description. Embodying Taylor's commitment to making the most playable 12-strings, the 50th Anniversary 858e LTD combines an inviting handfeel with a rich, powerful “wall-of-sound” voice. This limited-edition acoustic- electric pairs Indian rosewood back and sides with a Sitka spruce top in the form of a big-bodied Grand Orchestra — which harkens back to the classic rosewood/spruce jumbo 12-strings of Taylor’s early years. Of course, this edition boasts modern design elements like V-Class voicing architecture, which levels up the volume, sustain, pitch accuracy and touch sensitivity. Taylor's double-mounted string anchoring system (featuring a shared anchor point for each string pairing) helps maintain a consistent string break angle over the saddle for optimal tonal balance in the voicing. Together with the rosewood/spruce pairing, players will love the deep, shimmering, high- fidelity 12-string sound. Clean visual appointments include a three-ring green abalone rosette, mother-of-pearl Progressive Diamond fretboard inlays, white binding with black and white top purfling, a faux-tortoise pickguard, and Taylor Gold mini tuning machines. Special 50th anniversary touches include gold acrylic dots in the ebony bridge pins and a commemorative guitar label. The guitar includes onboard ES2 electronics and ships in a beautiful deluxe Western Floral hardshell case.
