The 224ce DLX LTD is crafted with back and sides of layered sapele topped with solid neo-tropical mahogany, yielding a warm, woody sound with a strong focus on the fundamental note that make it especially useful in recording applications. It also showcases a Trans Red color on the top, back, sides and neck, with a gloss-finish body and satin-finish neck. Featured appointments include black binding and black/white/black top purfling; a single-ring rosette in Italian acrylic and matching Small Diamond fretboard inlays; a black pickguard; and satin black tuners; It includes ES2 electronics and ships with a brown deluxe hardshell case.
