Returns
Guitars & Basses (Online & Phone Orders)
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you need to return a
guitar or bass, here’s what you need to know:- Returns must be initiated within 3 days of receiving your order.
- To initiate a return, call us at 412-343-5299 for a return authorization number.
- Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, unless the item arrived damaged or the wrong product was sent.
- If your item shipped with “Free Shipping,” the original outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.
- A 3.5% restocking fee applies to all canceled or returned orders to cover non-refundable payment processing fees.
- Items must be returned in original condition with all packaging materials included. For guitars and basses, that means protective plastic must still be intact on pickups and pickguards; all accessories, case candy, and paperwork must be included; original box and packing materials must be returned.
- We reserve the right to refuse returns or charge an additional restocking fee if items are not returned in original condition.
All Sales Final
We do not accept returns on the following:
- In-store purchases
- Local Pickup Orders (Buy Online / Phone)
- Layaway sales and payments
- Closeout or clearance items
- Purchases involving trades
- Instruments modified at the time of sale or after (example: strap button or pickup installation)
- Amps, Pedals & Electronics. Due to the nature of electronic products, we do not accept returns on amplifiers, pedals, or other electronic gear. If your item appears defective out of the box, contact us immediately — we’ll work with you and the manufacturer on a warranty resolution.

The Martin DC-13E Modern blends contemporary style with stage-ready performance. Its gloss Dreadnought cutaway body combines a solid spruce top with koa fine veneer back and sides for clear, balanced tone with shimmering highs and long, even sustain. Scalloped X-bracing boosts volume and responsiveness, while the cutaway gives full access to the upper frets. The Performing Artist neck with high-performance taper delivers fast, comfortable playability, and eye-catching details like white binding, diamond-and-square inlays, and Ratio® skeletonized open gear tuners bring a modern twist to a classic look. Equipped with versatile E1 electronics, a built-in tuner, and a softshell case, the DC-13E Modern is a sleek, inspiring tool for creating, gigging, and pushing your sound forward.
Note: After close inspection, this instrument has scratching on the bridge and an impression on the top lower bout edge of the body. (See pics, light reflections used to show wear)
