With its solid tonewoods, slender neck, tone-enhancing bracing and alluring shaded edgeburst top, the 414ce Studio SEB serves up a pro-quality playing experience at a more accessible price point for everyday musicians. Solid Indian rosewood back and sides generate lush overtones, pristine trebles and a rich low-end character, while the torrefied Sitka spruce top adds bold projection and a dash of additional warmth and aged-in sweetness. Sleek, striking visual details like the burst top and gloss-finish body round out the appointment package for the 414ce Studio SEB, offering a stage-ready look to complement its rich voice.

Originally developed for smaller Taylor body shapes and now found in many of their layered-wood guitars, Taylor's proprietary C-Class bracing leverages some of the foundational, tone-enhancing ideas behind their V-Class design to boost volume and sustain. Featuring an asymmetrical, cantilevered design (thus the “C” in C-Class), this unique architecture emphasizes the lower frequencies to produce a surprisingly powerful bass response. The overall sound is sweet, focused and responsive, with a tonal output that sonically punches above its weight class.
