Combining a compact body, a unique 12-fret configuration, and a lush, warm voice, the Next Generation 512ce 12-Fret serves up musical appeal in spades. This Grand Concert boasts back and sides of solid mahogany, yielding a punchy, focused midrange character with a dry, woody quality. A top of Western Red cedar adds a warm attack with remarkable soft-touch sensitivity, producing notes that bloom with depth and sweetness. Inside, scalloped V-Class bracing offers enhanced open-string resonance and sustain, while the long-tenon Action Control Neck dials up more warmth while making it easy to set your preferred string height in minutes. The 12-fret design beautifully complements the accommodating Grand Concert frame, reducing string tension for a slinky, relaxed feel. Appointments include white body binding with black/white/black trim, a single-ring green abalone rosette, a faux-tortoiseshell pickguard, Meridian inlays in Italian acrylic, and a full-body gloss finish.
