Designed with eye-popping Wild Grain East Indian Rosewood from our private wood locker at the Martin Custom Shop, we are proud to present our exclusive Martin Custom Shop OM-41 model.

As one of only 24 Martin Custom Shop Expert Dealers worldwide, we have unfettered access to the Martin Custom Shop and their incredible world-renowned wood reserves. Empire Music Owner Joe Ravita has hand-selected these specific wood sets and designed the instrument in conjunction with Martin Custom Shop Master Designer Jimmie Kleintop. The goal was to offer the finest sonic experience Martin has to offer with the highest quality wood sets on Earth.

An All-Rosewood Martin Custom Shop guitar is extremely rare and demands the finest Wild Grain East Indian Rosewood and a well-executed interior design. We are incredibly excited to offer both as part of this design.

The obvious question—what does it sound like? The sound is insanely full and remarkably warm. It’s not as loud as a Spruce top model; however, the rich tones that are oozing out of this design will still be easily heard. The trade-off of max volume is easily made up by all of the complex overtones that are easily found when playing this beauty. The fact is that no other design sounds like it, and that’s why Joe loves it!

The Orchestra body shape offers a balanced and focused tone with tons of physical comfort. Players will immediately realize the fast responding top and the lush tones top to bottom.

The secret to making this guitar work sonically was a marriage of bracing and scale length designs. 1/4” scalloped bracing was selected to allow the guitar to open up easily and create plenty of top-end volume. The 25.4” standard scale design keeps the guitar from losing the ability to stay clear and articulate. The design is intended to allow the instrument to sound as full and warm as possible while keeping the clarity that we demand.

We couldn’t design this model without some beautiful cosmetic appointments. The all Paua Hexagon Fingerboard Inlay, Top Binding, Soundhole Rosette, and C.F. Martin Headstock logo take the guitar into a timeless era of Martin Guitars.
