Used Fender American Standard Stratocaster (’97-’98) – 3-Color Sunburst #04064 with Original Hard case

This Fender American Standard Stratocaster is in GOOD overall condition. Cosmetically, it is in good shape but does show a heavy amount of wear/blemishes mainly on the body. See below for a detailed description. It has been thoroughly inspected, set up nicely and guaranteed to play great when it arrives.

TOP: Heavy impressions/dimples and scratching throughout; Long impression lower bout; Chip along high E string side edge.

BACK: Heavy chipping, impressions/dimples, and scratching throughout.

SIDE(S): Scratching throughout.

NECK: Dimples and impressions throughout back of neck.

NECK POCKET: No significant marks, blemishes, or wear.

FINGERBOARD: No significant marks, blemishes, or wear.

FRETS: Little to no visible wear. No grooves or divots.

HEADSTOCK: No significant marks, blemishes, or wear.

HARDWARE: Intact and working properly; Show aging and wear.

PICKGUARD: Has pick scratching.

BACK COVER(S): Missing

PICKUP(S): Intact and working properly; Replaced with Fender Vintage Noiseless; Show aging and wear.

ELECTRONICS: Intact and working properly.

(Guitar has been modified with Fender Vintage Noiseless pickups, locking tuners, and is missing the back plate.)

This 1997-1998 Fender American Standard Stratocaster is a solid example of Fender’s quality musicians have grown to love over the decades.

This rocking Strat blends Fender’s vintage looks with modern specs seen closer to the end of the 1987-2000 run of American Standards.

We are unsure of the model year due to Fender utilizing the N7 serial number from 1997-1998, however the 3-Color Sunburst was first used in 1998 replacing the Brown Sunburst color. This means that the guitar may have been built in 1997 but not released until 1998, or built in the first half of 1998.
