Used Modified Fender Highway One Stratocaster Fernandes Sustainer (2011) – Flat Black #09884 with Hard Case

This Fender Highway One Stratocaster is in VERY GOOD overall condition. Cosmetically, it is in very good shape but does show wear/blemishes in places. See below for a detailed description. It has been thoroughly inspected, set up nicely and guaranteed to play great when it arrives.

Description:

TOP: Light finish scratching throughout; Chip above pickguard mid bout; Scuff on high E side edge right below pickguard.

BACK: Light finish scratching throughout; Chips/scratching middle and lower bout;

SIDE(S): Light finish scratching throughout; Chip high E side edge lower/mid bout, high E side edge upper/mid bout, bottom low E String side of body, and around back of low E horn edge.

NECK: No significant marks, blemishes, or wear.

NECK POCKET: Heel cracks on both sides; Chip on neck pocket high E side.

FINGERBOARD: No significant marks, blemishes, or wear.

FRETS: Little to no visible wear. No grooves or divots.

HEADSTOCK: Small blemish on front face and top back edge.

HARDWARE: Intact and working properly.

PICKGUARD: Has some pick scratching.

BACK COVER(S): Has some scratches.

PICKUP(S): Intact and working properly.

ELECTRONICS: Intact and working properly.

• SPECIAL ELECTRONICS: Greasebucket™ Tone Circuit (Rolls off Highs Without Adding Bass), Fernandes Sustainer (Upper switch on/off, lower switch mode control single/mix/harmonics), 3-way toggle switch for P-Rails pickup mode (Single coil/Humbucker/P-90).

This modified Highway One Stratocaster is a tone and vibe machine. Containing a Fernandes Sustainer in the neck pickup position, this guitar has infinite sustain! The sustainer is paired with the stock middle pickup, and a versatile Seymour Duncan P-Rails with a 3-way switch to change between single coil, humbucker, and P-90 tones. The thin satin nitro allows the wood to breathe, and the guitar to age naturally overtime as it gets played!

Fernandes driver does not work as a neck pickup without the switch turned on. Second tone knob is not currently connected, but can be used as a sustain amount control or rewired as a separate tone knob. The first tone knob is set as a master tone. Battery is stored under backplate forcing the bridge to be docked.

The Highway One™ Stratocaster® guitar features an alder body, modern C-shaped maple neck with rosewood or maple fingerboard and 22 jumbo frets. Other features include three hot single-coil pickups with alnico 3 magnets (middle pickup is reverse wound/reverse polarity), vintage-style synchronized tremolo system, Greasebucket™ tone circuit and satin nitrocellulose lacquer finish.
